Cardiac Risk in the Young is holding a ‘Family Bereavement Support Day’ exclusively for bereaved family members who have lost a young person (aged 35 and under) to a sudden cardiac death.

The day is for CRY families across the UK, who:

• Would like to understand more about adjusting following the sudden cardiac death of their child, sibling or partner
• Would like to talk with others who have been affected by a similar loss

The day will be facilitated by CRY counsellors, to provide the opportunity to connect with others.

On the day:

• Coffee/tea and registration is at 10.30am
• The event is from 10.30am-3pm
• Lunch and refreshments will be provided

Please note:

There will be a maximum of 20 delegates at the event. Unless at least 6 registrations have been received by the closing date, unfortunately the event will be cancelled.

The event is only for family members over the age of 18. If you are looking for bereavement support for a young person under the age of 18, please contact CRY who may be able to help to signpost you to other organisations who offer specialist support to children and young people.

CRY can refund the registration fee and travel expenses (train/car) on submission of receipts after the event.
