Anna Eccleston and her friend Suzie climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in February of this year, raising £2,644.78 in memory of their friend Mandy Lee who passed away in May 1996. These funds will go towards furthering CRY’s goal of reducing the number of young sudden cardiac deaths, preventing loved ones from facing that tragic loss of life.
Anna stated:
“I’m so glad I managed to raise a good amount for the charity and I really hope it helps make a difference. It seems so strange to have completed the challenge this year what with everything COVID that’s happened since! Both me and Suzie are so pleased that we were able to.”
