Gregory Carr
On Wednesday 8th of May 2024 the world lost a talented, kind, caring man to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Leaving behind his amazing fiance, Rachael, beautiful son Finley and his doting parents Bev and Russ, plus hundreds of friends, relatives, teammates and colleagues.
He was a doting father and fiance and cared passionately about his family, friends, and teammates.
We have set up this page to help prevent the loss of other young men and women and the devastating effect that has across their families and friends.
If we can save lives in Greg’s name then he will have built the legacy he was always destined to build.
If you are on his page you are helping him save lives and fulfil that legacy ❤️
This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY’s screening programme and fund research and pathology.
See the Latest News below for any events we are holding for Greg’s fundraising.

This donation is from Greg’s Inaugural 9-a-side Competition organised by Bolton Lads and Girls Club and kindly given by his teammates, staff, parents and supporters who attended and played on that day. The day was an amazing celebration of his life and to see the amount of people who attended and shared their wonderful memories of him was fantastic. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it a great day. We will be holding the tournament again next year and everyone is welcome to come and join us.

Didn't know Greg personally, but his story touched me for many reasons, and wanted to donate to support this important cause.
