HUNDREDS of people had their cardiac health checked at a weekend screening at the Harwich and Parkeston Football Club in memory of Tom Petley.
Tom Petley died in his sleep on April 21, 2022, from sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS) – where someone dies from a cardiac arrest with no obvious cause being found.
The screening weekend was carried out by the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, which has supported Tom’s family since his death.
