A friend of a pregnant young mum who died suddenly has teamed up with The Voice finalist Jamie Johnson to record a song in her memory.
Jade Glen, 22, died in May when she was eight months pregnant. Her 18-month-old son Mickey was with her when she collapsed at her parents’ home in Cobham Rise, Gillingham.
Now one of her friends, James Hutch, has written a song about Jade and her unborn daughter Dolly, who died with her.
James said: “Jade would love the song. I was really close with Jade when she was going though a hard time. I’m so pleased that I have been able to do this in her memory. Her family have always been there for me and this is my way of giving something back to them.”
Jade’s dad, Floyd, said: “It is such a lovely thing for James to do. The song is perfect. We love it. We play it at home and Mickey dances along.”
