Once again members of our family took part in the Durham Walk in memory of my son, Kevin Paterson who died suddenly on 21st October 2012. We have taken part seven times now and find it an emotional but exhilarating occasion, meeting other families who have lost loved ones. It’s a beautiful walk and we always stop in the cathedral to light candles and have a short break. CRY staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly and Dougie, the photographer, is always on hand to take group photos. Hopefully, we will be able to take part again next year.
