A few funny stories on the day. For example, the lad on the right, Stu, finished dead last out of 187 male sprint triathletes who finished 🙂 – at least he completed it and it was for a good cause. The lad in the middle, Darren, was doing the bike part of the triathlon through Salford Quays when a guy came out of work on an old bike in front of him. Hilariously Daz couldn’t catch this non-competitor up.
It was a great day overall and the JustGiving donations along with the a few other avenues of donations means that we’ve raised well over £1,500 for CRY which we’re all delighted with.
Onto the next event – Tough Mudder in September!
