Now in its 14th year, the success of the CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk is thanks to the continued support of our participants and sponsors. The event offers participants the opportunity to show support for CRY, remember/support those affected and help raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death. Last year, nearly 1,600 participants took part in the event, raising over £71,000 to date, which went towards supporting our vital work.
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to promote your brand to CRY’s large supporter base as well as to members of the general public who will be enjoying a day out in some of central London’s most popular and busy areas. Sponsoring this event can also enhance your image showing your commitment and concern for a worthy cause.
Our overall aim is to ensure that our event costs are covered, so that any money raised by our participants goes directly towards funding our core aims.
There are various sponsorship opportunities for this event. As with most sponsorship, your logo and name can appear on a variety of leaflets and posters on the day, on our website and, potentially, a variety of media sources promoting the event. Your support will also be acknowledged via our Facebook page with over 31,000 likes, on our Twitter account that has over 17,000 followers and also on our Instagram, before and after the event.
In addition to promoting your brand, supporting this event can also provide your staff with volunteering opportunities and the chance to participate in the walk itself. We are keen to work with companies in a way that makes best use of their resources and staff, which helps promote their brand, while offering employees the opportunity for community involvement.
Previous sponsors of this event include UNUM, SC Johnson, Chubb, ServiceMaster and London Bridge City. CRY has also received refreshment donations from Lucozade Ribena Suntory, Hippeas, PopChips and Eat Natural. Many of these sponsors have gone on to support the event on a regular basis.
