Katey Louise Davies died in 1998 of adult death syndrome she was just 17 & 2 months away from her 18th birthday. I ran the virtual London marathon in cardiff in memory of Katey, to raise awareness of the CRY charity.
We have been trying to get into the London marathon through the ballot for years without success, so in 2019 following another rejection email we decided to book a place at Manchester, it was our goal to complete a marathon by the year 2020. I was pleased to be able to raise £749.15 for CRY as part of my charitable effort through cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats. I participated in Ride Across Britain, a 9 day cycling challenge of 970 miles. It was a thoroughly enjoyable (but gruelling) experience. I hope this fundraising goes someway to support the

We arranged for a Vintage car www.cottamcarriages.co.uk (provided free of charge) to be available on arrival so that the guests could have their photographs taken by www.ouiouiphotography.co.uk who kindly donated their time and the images. On Sunday 21st November 2021 we hosted an online private event, which was a cake competition, raffle and mini quiz. We also raised funds through the sale of CRY Christmas cards.
