Soccer tournament in player's memory boosts charity

A football tournament held in memory of a former Clifton Rangers’ Player was supported by hundreds of young soccer enthusiasts. The Dominic O’Loughlin Anniversary Soccer Festival organised by Clifton Rangers, was held at Brighouse High School. Dominic, who was a captain of Clifton Rangers’ under 11’s team, died aged 11, in 1994 from a previously undiagnosed


Hundreds play in memory of Dominic – and now his dad

Hundreds of young soccer enthusiasts will turn out on August 30 to take part in a six-a-side tournament played every year in memory of a promising young sportsman who died of a rare heart condition. Friendly rivalry will be to the fore when 560 boys and girls kick off in the 13th Dominic O’Loughlin Soccer Festival
