Sponsored Christmas fast and supermarket bag-packing

December 2006 Friends and family of Richard Martin, who died of WPW in November 2004, have been fundraising for CRY in Richard’s memory. The picture on the left shows two students from Co Fermanagh, who together raised £900 for CRY by doing a sponsored fast on Christmas day. They are Gail Kempton (left) and Leanne Lapin


Steak barbecue fundraiser

Please accept this donation of £2600 for the CRY Northern Ireland fund. The money was raised during a steak barbecue fundraising event which took place on 17th August at the Anglers and Fisherman’s sporting club in Ballinamallard, Fermanagh. Approximately 100 people attended, each buying BBQ tickets worth £10. The additional money was raised via a raffle,

Northern Ireland Postcard

Today in Belfast, Cardiac Risk in the Young launched its Northern Ireland postcard campaign. The symbolic postcard highlights the deaths of 12 young people from Northern Ireland of undiagnosed fatal heart conditions most of which are genetic. This is the latest leg in CRY’s campaign promoting the value of screening across Northern Ireland and the UK.
