Terry Leaves

Terry died from an asymptomatic heart condition (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy causing a fatal arrhythmia). He was 38 years old and died in his sleep. Many people would say that he was the fittest and healthiest person they knew; he would finish a 100-mile cycle ride before lunch. 

We have chosen the charity CRY as Terry’s condition was asymptomatic. We hope that through donating to CRY we can together help to protect the next generation. 

This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY’s screening programme and fund research and pathology.
