I did this in memory of my son, Tom who we suddenly lost aged 21. Tom wasn’t feeling well during the day and went to bed with a couple of paracetamol. He never woke up. We didn’t get any joy from the Post mortem and it has taken us a long time to get down the line of genetic testing.  It turns out my youngest son and husband have a rare heart condition called Brugada Syndrome which is highly likely what took Tom from us.

I decided to do the 12 in a week challenge to raise funds for CRY. I pushed this out and did something hard on ‘12’ everyday. Two 12 mile walk, a few 12 mile bike rides. 12000 m meter row and some fitness classes as well . I raise a Tortola of £3360. I want to thank everyone who sponsored me and I hope that CRy can continue to do their work to spare families out heartache. We miss him every second of every day.
