I held a sponsored basketball shoot-a-thon with 1st Tadcaster Guides, we had to shoot 624 hoops in 52 minutes. Some of the girls came in red and white, they learnt a bit about the charity and then we started. We found it more difficult then we thought but worked well as a team and it began to get very competitive in the last ten minutes as the girls really wanted to meet their target. We did it with 2 minutes left and managed to raise £400!!
