Cardiac Risk in the Young screened 200 young people over 2 days at Cardiff Metropolitan University. A donation of £14,000 from the Former Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Councillor Doug Williams made these screenings possible. Among those screened were Welsh Netball Captain and Senior Lecturer at Cardiff Met, Suzy Drane and Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Physiology at Cardiff Met, Dr Mike Stembridge.
