75 golfers attended the Neil Cummins Memorial Golf Day and raised over £14,000 for CRY
The first Neil Cummins Memorial Golf Day was held in memory of Mr Cummins who passed away in April 2021. The day consisted of drinks reception, dinner, prize-giving and an auction – which raised over £14,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
It is an organisation set up to prevent sudden cardiac deaths among young people through awareness, screening and research and to support families affected by the condition.
It is hoped that this will be become an annual event in Mr Cummins’ memory.
