Our team are all of differing ages from early 20’s to me at 61 (photo bottom left) and very different abilities

The best time was 47 minutes, with another three within the hour; I brought up the rear at 1 hour 11 minutes, in which I was personally very pleased with as I hadn’t done any distance training at all – although I can feel the effects now!

We have some cash sponsors to pay in as well, so all in all I think it was a great day. Lots of attention from Facebook friends and a few new ones who have liked and shared the story so good PR as well.
