The Yorkshire Women of Achievement event took place at the Royal Armouries on Friday. Unfortunately I did not win my category (Courage) but the incredible woman that did win definitely deserved the award and also overall recognition as she won the overall Outstanding Woman of Achievement award too.  Her story was extremely sad and tragic, but does not deter from the fact that we both have suffered tremendous losses.

I remain extremely proud however to have been nominated and shortlisted down to 5 remaining women and grateful that CRY was mentioned in the program for the day.

At the time of this writing, the total amount raised is over £39,000.
