The charity match is now in its 3rd year and is part of a growing fundraising campaign. We lost Charlie Holden in January 2015 at the age of 15. Since this tragic loss we have had 3 lads versus dads matches (dads have won all 3!), a colour run, a social evening on Charlie’s 18th last May, and we are planning a concert into September where Charlie’s friends are performing. Bridgewater High School in Warrington contributed £2000 to our fundraising last year which they raised through their “Heart Week”.

Our fundraising will continue and we will plan at least 1 a year. All funds will go to CRYCharlieHolden in order to raise awareness of SADs and to help fund the provision of testing and de-fib units in all North West schools. We will continue to #Doitforcharlie.
