CRY’s Projects

For CRY to continue its work to reduce the incidence of young sudden cardiac death and to also support those affected, there are a number of projects that CRY requires help in securing funding for.  It is only with the help of CRY’s supporters that CRY can continue to grow as a charity and offer more support to those affected.

From funding cardiac screening clinics to our bereavement support training, below are a number of projects that CRY is currently undertaking.  CRY also has to prepare for the future of its aims and objectives so there are also a number of projects that aren’t currently in progress, but with sufficient funding would allow CRY to continue to develop and improve the service we offer.

Why support CRY?
Every week in the UK, at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die suddenly and unexpectedly from an undiagnosed heart condition. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is the only charity in the UK offering proactive cardiac screenings to young people between the ages of 14-35.

Philanthropy
Whether it’s supporting CRY’s screening or research programme, CRY has a number of projects that we are currently undertaking and also those that are plans for the future in which your donation can make a huge difference to our work in reducing the incidence of young sudden cardiac death.  Major gifts can be used for wherever the need is greatest or can be allocated to a particular area of CRY’s work if there is a specific interest.
