At 5pm on Friday June 29th, a team of 8 intrepid walkers from The Berkeley Partnership, a London-based Management Consultancy – along with David Taylor, who drove the team from peak to peak and kept the whole thing on schedule – started the clock on their 3 Peaks Challenge.

The weather was kind and apart from the odd rogue sheep at Wasdale Head, the roads clear. The final team member crossed the line back at the Pen-y-Pas carpark at 4.20pm on the Saturday afternoon.

Tired, sore, but elated, the team have raised over £10,000 for CRY in memory of Claire Machin, who died suddenly from dilated cardiomyopathy in May 2010, aged 39.
