On September 28th 2019 the wonderful people at Raynes Park Vale FC held a football event in memory of Ben O’Connell who passed away on 18th July 2019 at the age of 14.

Ben loved his football and the event featured the teams that he had represented over the last few years, namely Raynes Park Vale, Glyn School, Motspur Park FC and representatives from West Sutton Little League.

Over 400 people turned up on the day and with the help of match funding, over £10,000 was raised for CRY and also to purchase 2 defibrillators for Raynes Park.
