This was my first presentation as a voluntary representative to a large group of sports students at Richard Huish College in Taunton. I explained to the young people what happened to our son, and told his story. I then explained about Cardiac Risk in the Young, why I have become a representative, and why fundraising for screening young people is very important. Students listened to the work that CRY does and several asked appropriate questions. I am hoping that the young people will do some fundraising themselves in Gary’s memory, and book themselves on our next screening day in August next year.
