Having recently retired I decided to walk home from London. A route from Westminster through the city and the beautiful Kent and Sussex country side to Hastings. All in all 117 miles in 7 days, a zigzag route taking in all the sights on the way.

My wife Sally and I have some close friends who recent lost their son to SADS. Dan was so young, only 23 and leaves behind him his fiancé and baby daughter. The support that CRY gave his family moved us to use the walk to raise funds for this great cause.

We are really grateful to all who followed our journey and were so generous. Also to Barclays (my previous employer) who matched all the funds we raised.
