This year was bound to be different in terms of raising awareness and funds for CRY. However, we did not let that get in the way! On Sunday 22nd November 2020 we hosted an online private event, which was a cake competition and raffle. A presentation was created and screen-shared on Skype. The presentation had photos of the cakes and other sweet treats that people had created for the competition. People who attended the video call were asked to visit a website (menti.com) to vote for their favourite cake entry from home. The results were then screen-shared for everyone in the video call to see. Then the raffle commenced. The event was Covid-19 safe and all prizes were disinfected where possible before handing over to winners. We raised an amazing £564.30 in memory of our friend Ant.
