This basketball game was a competition match organised by Lisburn Basketball Club against Bangor Basketball Club, and took place at Lisburn Leisureplex on Friday 18th May.

Our son Nicholas had been a very keen member of Lisburn Club when he died in November 1998 and the Club now has a memorial trophy match annually for him.
This is the first time they made a collection for CRY and I have sent a cheque for the £120 which was collected that evening. You sent me a nice laminated A3 gift certificate and I sent it on the club secretary. The club intends to do more fundraising next season.

Some of the current club members are immigrants from Lithuania, Czech Republic and so forth. As you can imagine they have not much spare cash so I thought this was a particularly kind gesture.
