On the day of the tournament a prize draw is run with the proceeds going to the charity of Jill (Dicks wife’s) choice. Her chosen charity was CRY and the initials stand for ‘Cardiac Risk in the Young’ in memory of Toby Chenery, a young man from Halesworth who recently died suddenly at the age of 23. The family of Toby hope to raise £10,500 in order to hold a screening day for young people in the area. The proceeds of the prize draw at this tournament raised £172.
