On Saturday 6th December we held a Christmas coffee morning at Old Mill Court in Walmer Bridge, Antionietta Broadhurst kindly invited us to hold the event, she also collected items to sell and helped on the day. Julie Appleby and Joan Hodson had baked lots of cakes and scones, made marmalade and jam, made bacon barms and toasted tea cakes, mulled wine and tea and coffee and donated the proceeds. We had a Tombola, a sale table and a raffle and raised the magnificent sum of £250. Our thanks to all who contributed in any way and to all who attended.
