Dawn McMorrow and James Lewis took part in the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon in London, raising £582 for CRY. James lost his cousin Simon Hewett to a heart condition in 2005.

Simon was a keen sportsman and marathon runner, so the two wanted all money raised sent to the memorial fund in his honor.

The day was a great success and both runners clocked pleasing times for ‘first-timers’. Having gotten over their aches and pains the pair plan to run their first full marathon in April 2010.
