I wanted to run the Bristol Half Marathon to raise money for CRY in memory of my fiance, Gary Edwards who passed away unexpectedly on his stag do in Poland six weeks before our wedding in July 2015.

I have to admit my training didn’t go quite go to plan in the run up to the half marathon however the amount of sponsors I received kept me going throughout the run. I am really pleased and proud to have raised nearly £1000. I ran the half marathon with my sister Laura and friends, Allie, Helene and Sara.
