A massive well done to Dave Crawley who completed the Edinburgh Half Marathon whilst his daughter Alexis will take on the full Marathon.

Alexis decided to run for CRY after having used CRY screening days in the past due to her competitive sports history and felt this is a good way to “give back”. Dave hadn’t run for 10 years so he was put through his paces on this one..

Alexis asked her dad, who is a close work colleague with Neil (Livs dad) would it be ok to do for livs fundraising page as it has done fantastic so far with raising awareness and funds, so that Neil and the family can do screening events in the future.

Neil stated “this is great news and I’m glad they didn’t ask me as 10k was enough (for now), our whole family are overwhelmed by the amount of people that want to ‘do events’ in Livs memory and it really makes us quite proud that people are doing what they can to raise awareness and funds so we can get more screening events penciled in, all I can say once again is THANK YOU”

Massive well done to Alexis and Dave who raised £4,058 for CRY
