An evening of song in aid of the Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund raised ยฃ500 at the LVS School in Ascot, Berkshire, on May 20.
The staff and parentsโ choir put on a packed evening of entertainment and headmistress Christine Cunniffe said: โI was incredibly impressed by the standard of the performances from the choir and soloists.
โMany of the performers were pushed out of their comfort zones and I can only praise them for the achievements. They came together so passionately and enthusiastically to raise money for Tomโs charity. Well done to everyone involved.โ
Apart from singing, Mrs Cunniffe also performed a rendition of the first movement of Mozartโs piano concerto in D Minor with piano teacher James Bryant.
CRY and Tomโs Fund were brought to the schoolโs attention by family friends Juliet and Clive Matthews, whose son attends LVS.
