“It was the best and most difficult experience of my life but also the most satisfying.
There was beautiful scenery and we went through many villages once we started cycling. These villages got smaller and smaller as we went into the rainforest.
The highest climb that we had to do during the ride was 33km and it was pretty much none stop all the way.
We went from 2,500 metres altitude to 4,300 metres in the Andes and to put that into context that is half the height of Mount Everest!”
