A Ball to raise awareness of a rare heart condition raised more than £3,000.
Becky Feltham organised the event at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in honour of her late partner Pete Reynolds.
He died unexpectedly of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in October 2004 and, since then, his friends and family have done all they can to raise awareness and funds for the charity that supports and campaigns for those affected by the condition.
CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) provides information for people concerned about the condition, or those who have been affected by such tragedies.
Pete was an outgoing and lively 27-year-old who lived his life to the full.
He was a 'natural' at most sports and extremely fit.
Like many sufferers of SADS, Pete seemed to be extremely healthy and his death came as a shock to everyone around him.
The Ball in Pete's honour raised £3,200 for his memorial fund with CRY.
It was a chance for people who had known Pete to come together and enjoy the evening in his honour, while also raising vital funds to help the charity raise its profile. The Ball takes the funds raised in Pete's honour to more than £10,000.
Becky said: "Everyone had a brilliant time and it went better than I could ever have expected.
"This was something I could do to raise money for CRY.
"I've since been supporting then since Pete died."
"I'm not a great runner so I couldn't do marathons, so this was my way of doing my bit for Pete's memorial fund.
"I'm a doer and this was my way of doing something. This also gave me something to focus on.
"It was all Pete's friends and family so it was fantastic to get so many people there."
