Betty was an extremely lively, vivacious, sociable lady who had such a zest of life. Despite having experienced many medical problems during her life, she certainly lived her life to the full. Betty had numerous friends from all age groups, she belonged to many clubs and societies and was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin. She loved children and she would have been delighted that there is now a memorial fund in her name to help support the work of CRY.
This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY’s screening programme and fund research and pathology.
