On July 31st to August 2nd 14 cyclists undertook a 10 year anniversary bike ride in memory of Dan. They cycled trough 3 countries in 3 days starting in Gretna Green, Scotland travelling down through the lake district before crossing into Wales and returning to Dan’s home village of Bignall End in Nirth Staffordshire.Dan’s niece, who was born the day after he passed away, joined the riders for a short section of the ride and led them through the village on the last leg. It wasn’t meant to be a fund raising bike ride but thanks to everyone who donated to the just giving page they raised £2,682. It was a brilliant 3 days and as a family we would like to thank everyone who took part or supported the ride.
