We ran the Bolton 10k in memory of my partner, Andrew Patterson, who died from a sudden cardiac arrest last October and are just hoping to keep his memory alive whilst raising money and awareness for CRY.

People in the pictures are myself, Mark Sewell (Andy’s best friend) and Liza Butakova-Kilgarriff (my sister in law) – me and Mark are the ones wearing the CRY t-shirts. We did find it very tough as none of us had ever run 10k before but we did it in 59mins 31 seconds which we were really pleased about getting under the hour!
