The run went well despite the temperature touching 26 degrees. I completed the run in 2 hours, 31mins and 50 seconds. My Mum, Dad, partner and 1 year old son James came along too. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, enjoying a picnic afterwards and a nice chilled Prosecco to celebrate!

I enjoyed the run despite it being very warm, a lovely scenic route with lots of support. My friend Rebecca Haywood who I did the same half marathon with 5 years ago, met me at mile nine with some water and jelly babies which were much appreciated. It was such an amazing atmosphere and very emotional once you reach that finish line. I’ve managed to raise just shy of £500 so far!
