On Monday 4th June a group of friends and family walked the Bridgnorth Walk (www.bridgnorthwalk.org) in memory of Adam Green and have raised a wonderful amount of approximately £2,000.
“The full walk for 14 to 39 year olds (and anyone 40 and over who wishes to complete the full route is 22 miles) and goes to the summit of Brown Clee Hill (at 546m, the highest point in the West Midlands).
Sponsors all being collected now, but preliminary figures are looking around £2,000 plus of course you will be able to claim gift aid on a lot of this as well.
We also got an interview with Adam Green (name coincidence) of BBC Radio Shropshire which went out a few times ahead of the walk and on the BBC Local Radio news on the day! Of course CRY was well mentioned!
Thanks for all your wonderful support, T-shirts etc etc (I even sold the spare T Shirts at a garden day!).”
