RideLondon – the world’s greatest festival of cycling – returns on Sunday 29 May 2022, with a new format, exciting new routes and a new partnership with Essex County Council.
At the heart of this celebration of all things cycling is the RideLondon-Essex 100 challenge – a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
Starting off in Kendal, enjoy England’s picturesque countryside, taking a 100km anticlockwise loop through Garburn Pass, Ambleside, and Lake Windermere before finishing in Kendal. You will be provided with support and hospitality, and there are half and quarter distance options, too.
Join 2000 hikers in venturing through the stunning Cotswold’s landscape in summer 2022. This challenge is flexible, with 100 km, 50 km, and 25 km options. There’s also the option for accommodation at the basecamp, which is in the town Cirencester. Enjoy the views, and of course the challenge! The event will next take place in 25-26 June 2022.
This year marks the 16th annual CRY Heart of London Bridge Walk and we are excited to be back at Southwark Park. We hope that you will be able to join us on Sunday 26th June for a chance to connect and remember.

Take on the Thames Path Challenge following England's greatest river. Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves. The full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With half & quarter distance options - there's a challenge for everyone. There's also the 'Thames Bridges Trek' -a 25km walk through the heart of London, zig-zagging over 16 famous bridges with the best views of the Capital's landmarks. Your challenge will be a test of spirit and determination. You'll be supported all the way by our team, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement.
The Great North Run is the worlds biggest half marathon, with more than 57,000 runners pounding the streets of Newcastle.
