Walk, Jog, or Run a 50km Ultra or take on the 25km half challenge - and make next Easter weekend one to remember. Setting out from our basecamp at Windsor Racecourse - you can Walk, Jog, or Run the looped routes through the Great Park, along the Thames Path, and enjoy some of the wonderful surrounding countryside.
This stunning central London half marathon, takes in the capital's world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London's eight Royal Parks - Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens. It is the only Half-Marathon that travels through central London and is one of London's largest half-marathons with over 16,000 participants.
Great challenges need great settings - and there's none better than the Island's stunning coastal path. Past the famous Needles, Cowes at half way, on and right around the Island for a full 106km - with spectacular coastlines, dramatic white cliffs, sandy beaches and many ups & downs!
Join 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage Site. A Poole Harbour start - it's on to Corfe Castle, across to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point. For 100km challengers - it's past Portland Bill, nature reserves, along the western end of Chesil Beach to West Bay's famous cliffs (of TV's Broadchurch fame) - before a finish line celebration in vibrant Bridport. With Half & Quarter distance options also, with full support and great hospitality all the way -there's a challenge here for everyone!
Edinburgh Marathon Festival has a variety of events for all. A marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k and will now take place 29th-30th May 2021.
2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the Bank Holiday weekend. Most will Walk, but many will Jog or Run the full 100km, and with half & quarter distance options there's a challenge for everyone. A Richmond start by the Thames - then the North Downs and wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The 100km route heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.
The Asda Foundation Hull 10K, about to enter its ninth year, showcases the very best this East Riding city has to offer.
With the route flat and fast, it is suitable for participants just starting their running journey or more seasoned athletes.
New for 2021 – Walk, Jog, or Run the Lake District Challenge and take on England's finest countryside at your pace. Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge - suitable for all experience levels - and you'll get the best support & hospitality all the way. The Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal. From there it's a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves - with some stunning views en route -before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey. Push yourself further -100km Full Challenge, with Half & Quarter options also available. You’ll get full support and hospitality all the way, leaving you to focus on your challenge!
The magical Cotswold Way crosses areas of outstanding natural beauty, with fantastic panoramic views & picturesque villages. It's a great setting for a new Ultra Challenge that heads out from the heart of historic Bath and 100km later with a few hills en route - it's a finish line celebration in Cheltenham.

This challenge will welcome 2,000 adventurers into the fabulous Peak District National Park. There will be a major 'Base Camp' hub set-up in idyllic Bakewell, which will include a full range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality & welfare services across the weekend - and a full 100km Challenge which takes a tough & varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire's finest scenery and Peaks - with full support all the way. NEW FOR 2021! Take on the Yorkshire Challenge through some of the UK’s more unexplored geography through historic landscapes and past ancient landmarks. Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves. The full Yorkshire Challenge 100 km is a figure -of- 8 route, starting & finishing in Nidderdale, deep in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With half & quarter distance options –there’s a challenge for everyone.
Take on this new Challenge for 2021-across England's South West Peninsular. It's 100km from Minehead in Somerset on the south bank of the Bristol Channel, down to seaside Dawlish on the southern coast of Devon, with some ups & downs of Exmoor and the meandering Exe Valley in between. You'll get full support all the way with marquee rest stops, free food & drink, and a huge welcome & celebration at the finish fine after an amazing journey. The full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With half & quarter distance options - there's a challenge for everyone. There's also the 'Thames Bridges Trek' -a 25km walk through the heart of London, zig-zagging over 16 famous bridges with the best views of the Capital's landmarks. Your challenge will be a test of spirit and determination. You'll be supported all the way by our team, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement.

The Great North Run is the worlds biggest half marathon, with more than 57,000 runners pounding the streets of Newcastle.
The Skyline Events London to Brighton Cycle Ride is a mass-participation cycle ride covering from Clapham Common in London to Madeira Drive on Brighton sea front. Over 4,000 cyclists are expected to take part in this year's iconic ride and now is your chance to get pedaling 54 miles on two wheels for CRY!
Walk, Jog, or Run along historic trails and over rolling hills. Starting & finishing at our Base Camp in Henley-on-Thames, there's a Saturday night celebration BBQ & entertainment with camping options. Passing through nature reserves, forests, and a few hills with great views -it's a route with real variety, and some wonderful scenery –and it's all easily accessible from London. With 25km options also -there's a Chiltern Challenge here for everyone!
The public ballot for places in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2021 is now open. Ballot closes on Friday 9th October at 5pm. Click for more information.
The event has been postponed until 3rd October 2021 due to Covid restrictions. There is also the opportunity to take part in the run 'virtually' in March. If you would like more information in switching your place to a virtual one, please email events@c-r-y.org.uk
On Sunday 3 October 2021, 50,000 runners will have the chance to be a part of the biggest marathon ever staged anywhere in the world.
The virtual Virgin Money London Marathon will return this year, giving participants the opportunity to take on the world’s greatest marathon on the course of their choice from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59, wherever they are on the planet.
The Manchester Marathon has been postponed and new date is 10th October 2021. We will keep CRY runners updated via this page and email.
