Following an ambitious plan to take the team to play an international tournament in Portugal the management, parents and players set about fund raising for the tour and also raising money for 2 charities.
Through lots of planning and hard work fundraising over the past 2 years we achieved our goal and managed to raise £1,000 for each of the charities.
The boys managed a fantastic 3rd place in the tournament that was held inside the Benfica FC stadium in Lisbon.
On Saturday we brought the team together to present the cheques and are very proud to have helped 2 charities that rely on donations.
