‘Carney Festival’ to be held this weekend to raise awareness of cardiac issues, in memory of Adam Cooper

Adam ‘Carney’ Cooper, who was a 31-year-old father when he died in 2017, was playing in an away game in Runcorn when he collapsed.

It was later revealed that Adam died from acute cardiac failure.

Now, in his honour, a festival is being held to raise awareness for cardiac issues, and is also being used to generate funds for C-R-Y – Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Adam will be remembered with the festival that takes place on Saturday, July 8, at Shaw Street in Culcheth.

At the festival there will be a number of events and activities, including a barbecue, a bar, an ice cream van, a bouncy castle, a tombola, face painting, hair braiding, and more.
