Varsity rugby match in memory of Ian Williams

BBC Sport, 6th December 2018 After being contacted by Cardiac Risk in the Young, the Williams family have been campaigning for more screening to be done in rugby union. The Ian Williams Foundation, founded by his sister Helen, are using the varsity matches to try and raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death. Wanstead Village Directory, 13th November 2018 Following the sudden death of a young Wanstead boy, Carina Harris has teamed up with the Wanstead Business Network to host a 70s and 80s disco. 1960’s Themed Fundraiser raises over £700

Littlehampton Gazette, 30th October 2018 Martin Quaife organised a 1960’s themed fundraiser featuring live performances from band 60+, a 60’s themed quiz, raffle prizes and a best themed costume competition. The event raised over £700 which will be split between three charities, including Cardiac Risk in the Young. Kelvedon and District classic car rally raises money for CRY

10th July 2018, Clacton Gazette The Rotary Club of Kelvedon and Districts 4th annual car rally took place in Colchester, 23 drivers took part, driving classic motors and modern cars alike. Last year the group raised £800 for CRY in memory of the club presidents daughter. Read more
