Cardiac screenings in memory of Andrew Gard

Gazette News, 2nd January 2018 Caroline Gard and her family have raised an astonishing £120,000 in aid of CRY and in memory of Andrew Gard, since his death 20 years ago. The money raised has allowed hundreds of young people to undergo heart screenings, and has raised awareness of undiagnosed heart conditions. Read more

Cycling from Southbourne to Germany in memory of David Green

Chichester Observer, 10th November 2017 Curtis Harrison and Peter Lockyer have set off on a cycle ride from Southbourne to Germany in memory of their friend, David Green. David passed away in 2010 due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Curtis and Peter hope to raise £1000 for CRY by cycling 456 miles. Read more

Kings Langley club’s ground renamed as the CRY Community Stadium

Watford Observer, 13th October 2017 The clubs ground will be known as the CRY Community Stadium for the 2017/18 season, in tribute to Cardiac Risk in the Young and Dale Tennent Butler, who died while playing football in 2007. Eastleigh screening in memory of Claire Reed

Eastleigh News, 8th October 2017 The screening was organised by Graham and Anne Hunter in memory of their daughter, Claire Reed. Since her death in 2013, the pair have funded cardiac screenings for more than 1,400 local young people, and have campaigned for the installation of more defibrillators in the local area.
