THE Northwich and Winsford Guardian is giving two much-loved charities in the area the chance to receive a share of a £16,000 cash giveaway. Our parent company’s charitable arm, The Gannett Foundation, is providing £128k in cash to support local charities across the country and we have a £16,000 share to distribute across the north west.

On Ben’s first anniversary on 23rd September myself, my son’s girlfriend, Bekah and his friend, Katie drove around Worthing with gift bags full of Ben’s favourite snacks and dropped them off at his favourite places…his gym, his barbers, the pub, the beach, coffee shops and parks. It made a tough day full of love and positivity.

My wife, Pat, died suddenly in March this year, it was our 43rd anniversary and we were walking to a restaurant when she took poorly and died the following morning. The coroner in London advised us to contact CRY as the cause was diagnosed as Sudden Arrythmic Death Syndrome, we should have our children checked for
