Raising awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young is no easy task — and neither was this challenge.
In memory of our much-loved Dan Cook, a large and determined group took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a demanding 24-mile route covering Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales.
While they’re not the tallest mountains in the UK, the challenge involves over 1,500m of climbing and tests even the fittest walkers. But this wasn’t just about the physical effort — it was a powerful tribute to Dan and part of our ongoing mission to raise awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Every single person completed the route in just 10 hours — a remarkable achievement. To those who doubted it could be done, the team proved what’s possible when you walk with purpose, heart, and love.
Always for Dan. 💙
