A charity football match was played on 11th November 2012 which was 2 days before the 7th anniversary of Paul’s death. £466 was raised.

Both of the teams were made up of Paul’s friends and family. ‘Preston Farm Motors’ was made up of the lads who were playing the day that Paul actually collapsed and died. The other team – called ‘Marton 11’ – was made up of family, friends and lads who played football with Paul when he was younger.

There was also £250 donated from a collection made by his dad Mal’s work colleagues. The company is called DSL Operatives and the men work at Bradwell Power Station.

I would like to thank everyone that took part and for the good support of the people that came to watch.
