The national charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) now has its new postcards available in the Frome and Somerset Standard Office.
The postcards feature pictures of eight young people who are all under the age of 35 years old and have lost their lives suddenly to previously undetected heart conditions.
The eight victims pictured, which include Julian Wort from Frome, who died four years ago, had no apparent symptoms or history of poor health.
During September hundreds of the postcards will be distributed by CRY supporters to people in the South West, urging them to send it back to their MP.
It is hoped the flurry of postcards will encourage MP’s to add their support to the campaign and join the charity’s All Party Parliamentary Group.
Anyone who would like a postcard to forward to their MP can telephone Shirley Wort on 01373 471309.
Postcards can also be collected from the Frome and Somerset Standard Office at 23a Market Place.
