A BARROW man pushed through the pain of broken ribs to finish strongly in the Rob Burrow Leeds Half Marathon.

Christian Callister managed to finish in 85th place out of almost 5,000 people despite still recovering from broken ribs. In November 2025, Mr Callister injured himself severely playing football, suffering three broken ribs and a punctured lung.
