Classie Dog Grooming Fun Show Raises £3,000 in Memory of Liv for CRY
When 19-year-old Olivia “Liv” Gow tragically passed away, her family, friends, and colleagues were left heartbroken. Liv was a shining star at Classie Dog Groomers—intelligent, ambitious, and beloved by all.
In her memory, this year’s Classie Grooming Companion Show was dedicated to raising funds for CRY, a charity close to the hearts of many who knew her.
Thanks to the incredible support from the community, the event raised £3,000 for Liv’s Fundraising page, held at the beautiful The Woodcote hotel in Hooton.
The show was a joyful celebration of dogs, community, and compassion, special thanks to Mike Wildman and his team, including Marcin Ramiaczek, Dawn Young, Sandra Parle, Michaela Pool, Dave Bennett, Jennifer Nolan and Andrew Brace for putting on such a great day, and most of all to all the people who came and help raise such a great amount.
Highlights included:
Best in Show: Faye Bevis’ stunning Akita puppy
Veteran Class Winner: Ally Marquiss’ evergreen Bichon Frisé
Both winners generously donated their prize money to CRY
Liv’s father, Neil, attended the event, joined by John and Kathryn Jones—fellow CRY supporters who lost their son Thomas in similar circumstances. Their presence added deep meaning to the day.
